How to Use Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick
Huda’s tips for the perfect pout
1. Prep your lips: To improve consistency of application, gently exfoliate with a lip scrub. Blot off any excess oils.
2. For maximum impact, line lips using the Lip Contour and fade towards the centre.
3. Apply a thin layer of Liquid Matte in the corresponding or lighter shade to fill in the rest.
4. Allow approximately 30 seconds for colour to set and intensify to an opaque finish. Colour appearance may vary based on skin tone.

Water Pressure and Rub Test
Under water pressure – The colour didn’t budge or bleed
When rubbed – Slight transfer and fading of colour. I really had to rub hard to get it to smudge this must so that shows that its water proof at least!

After 5 Hours
(Inclusive of eating and drinking)
The longer quality of the formula is also impressive — I ate, drank, and even slept in these lipsticks successfully with no flaking or dissolution. However, in the areas where the colour faded, it did so evenly, not in large patches. I also loved the scent! It was redolent of true vanilla extract in the tube, instead of the more plastic-like aromas found in other makeup products. On the lips, it dried down to a more subtle cake batter fragrance.
