Patanjali Aloe-Vera Gel
Review
Patanjali Aloe- Vera Gel |
Today I am reviewing
Patanjali Aloe-Vera Gel. I just love aloe-vera gels and I always prefer to use
personal care products that contain aloe-vera extracts. As most of us know that
how beneficial is aloe-vera in tackling many skin problems. I have been using
aloe-vera gel from quite long time and I completely trust this amazing herb
during bad skin days. These days markets are flooded with different aloe-vera
creams & gels, and it becomes a bit difficult to find good aloe gel. I have
already reviewed OxyGlow Aloevera & Apple Face Massage Gel and Aplomb
Aloevera Gel. Today I’m going to talk about Patanjali Aloe-Vera Gel, I bought
this gel along with few more stuff from Patanjali outlet.

My Experience:
Patanjali Aloe- Vera Gel Experience |
I have very sensitive combination skin and Aloe-Vera gel is the most important
product in my skin care regimen. Patanjali Aloe-Vera gel has a green colour and
it smells quite refreshing. It has a perfect gel like consistency which is
neither very thick nor runny. It is very light weight and gets absorbed by the
skin very easily. I use this gel when I have rashes, severe acne or sun burns
and it helps to soothe my skin. When I use this gel, it gives cooling sensation
and my skin feels more relaxed. I usually apply it during night time before
going to bed. I take a generous amount of this gel and massage it onto my face
& neck. It hydrates skin and imparts a healthy glow on the skin.
It is very
moisturising, and helps with dry skin also. I totally love this because it
subdued all inflammation on my face within two days; also I have been applying
it on the acne scars. It has visibly reduced the already light scars, but
hasn’t shown any difference on the dark spots. I guess its just a matter of
time, maybe the darker spots need more time .My cheeks look smoother and even
the texture of my skin has improved. I guess it has also worked on open pores.
On hair – I was making
my regular hair pack and thought of adding a little of this gel also, for
experimentation sake. I added about two teaspoons of it. My hair was more
conditioned as compared to using the pack without the gel. So it gets a thumbs
up in the hair department also.
I also include this gel
in my weekly home facial. It is non-sticky and you can use it as a moisturizer
underneath your foundation to make the application more precise. I like to use
this gel on my arm & legs after waxing. It soothes skin irritation and
reduces redness & bumps that I get after waxing. You can use this gel as a
hand cream or body moisturizer. Only a small quantity is required and this tube
will last more than 2 months.
Price &
Availability: The price of the Patanjali Aloe-Vera
Gel is Rs. 80 for 150ml and you can buy it from Patanjali outlets and also
online from Amazon.in.

What I Liked:
• Contains 90% aloe-vera extract.
• Perfect consistency and easily
absorbed by the skin.
• Hygienic & travel-friendly
packaging.
• Non-sticky formula and highly
hydrating.
• Affordable and long lasting.
• Easily available online & at
Patanjali outlets.
• Soothes tired skin.
• Suitable for all skin types.
What I disliked:
• Full ingredients list is not
provided.
• Some people may find its fragrance a
little weird.
Pros of Patanjali Aloe
Vera Gel:
• It is a natural product (according to
me the preservatives added are inevitable )
• It comes in a tube. More hygienic and
easy to use .My previous gel in a tub had become clumpy; I think it will not
happen in a tube.
• It works on acne, reduces
inflammation and helps with slight burns also. (I know because I happened to
spill boiling water on my hands, it turned red but this gel immediately cooled
and prevented further damage. Although the burning was very little)
• Works on hair too.
• It has Vitamin E added.
• It is cheap.
• Works amazingly as a post
waxing/threading toner, whenever I get my eyebrows threaded the area hurts for
the whole day. It helps with that too.
Cons of Patanjali Aloe
Vera Gel
• It has colours and fragrance. I don’t
think it was needed, the colours could have been skipped to retain the
naturalness and how bad can aloe Vera gel smell that they added fragrance
.Unnecessary additions.
• Availability might be an issue;
Ramdev Baba’s products are known to have irregular supply and most of the times
things are out of stock.
• They should have mentioned what base
material they have used.
Will I repurchase –
YES!! And will recommend it also.
